Hello,

You might need to send your old school the exact forms they need to complete. They might not know of the documents you are asking for.

I would have your new school contact the old school and request the documents be sent to them.

You might want to offer to the old school that you will pay for the shipping to you in NZ, the taxi ride to the post office and a very nice lunch after completing this process (sweet talk).

Good luck. I don't think you are gonna make it to work on Monday. You could come in on a tourist visa and arrange the documents then go to HK. This will require a new letter of invitation with Hong Kong listed as the place where the visa is to be issued.

You will get it worked out. Anyone who can sweet talk an end of contract bonus like that has good luck in thier corner.
