Dear blackwellben,
Since we're unaware of the basis for your apparently thorough knowledge of management education in Saudi, would you please let us know how you have arrived at your conclusions?
Regards,

Good question.
There are some very cynical people out there who would brazenly suggest that to become a member of education middle-management in some places (KSA among them), all you need to do is
- Acquire a masters degree - or better still, a PhD - available from any online university, which recognizes your true greatness based on life experience
- Write a paper on anything you wish - provided its title uses lots of buzz-words, and present it an an education junket...sorry, symposium, e.g. Effective Strategies for the Successful Presentation of Perceived Pedagogical Value of Academic Approaches and the Selection of Personnel in Gulf Arab Tertiary Educational Institutions (private Sector), by Dr. D. Seeves, Director of Educational Philosophy at the Bahwait University of Language and Linguistics (BULL), BS; MA; DA: PhD; Dr. Phil; MELTA.
All joking aside, I can't imagine anyone being such a charlatan as to do something like that, surely? And could senior education management be so naive or indifferent as to be taken in by such skulduggery? No way, and certainly not in the private sector!
Just couldn't happen. Could it? |

Did some searches and reading to find out what/who lazycomputerkids is/are...
I don't know what "suspictions" are or "one and the same" means, but Cleopatra makes her accusations on topic discussions I haven't posted on and repeating her nonsense doesn't make it any more true.
She's in some kind of tizzy and you're making a mistake I don't much appreciate. It's some little club you've got. |

Just think: If you had even a smidgen of a sense of humour and didn't take yourself too seriously, you too could apply for membership! And you could even bring your good friend lazycomputerkids with you! |

And now this commercial message:
Obama's Thanksgiving message cites need for bipartisan cooperation
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9E5IPkg9_hI
whose political forbear in 1863 proclaimed:
I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens. |

So I take it nobody has any inside information on life at Al Maarefa College?
Oh well, it was worth asking I suppose! |

So far there are allusions to inside information within the virtual community named eslcafe.com.
Despair not! Baden baden! 'Tis merely the first day of classes post-Eid al-ahda. |
