| When I did JET for two years, I didn't meet one fellow JET over 40. Doesn't mean they don't exist, though. |

JETs over 40 are VERY rare. I was a 40ish JET and I stood out like the proverbial spare one at a wedding.
If you're 39 or older at time of application, don't waste your time, energy or coin applying. Buy a lotto ticket instead.
JET makes it abundantly clear(like it or not...and I don't like it)that it's not interested in hiring the old 'uns...no matter how suitable they are for the programme. |
