| Well, as a vegetarian who IS that vegetarian (not having a go, just making a comparison!) who was in Indo (mostly outside Jakarta) for 14 months I can proudly say I'm still alive, so you'll be absolutely fine! The vast majority of meat dishes are chicken or fish based anyway, so you won't have to rule out a great deal of local dishes. I knew people who wouldn't eat fish from warungs/street stalls mind you, due to the fact said fish had a high probability of having been caught in the local sewer. I mean river. |
