This one is showing up more & more frequently. If its a job you feel you would be comfortable in and the conditions / pay are otherwise fine... are you really going to turn down the contract for this clause?
Many schools will have stated in the contract what constitutes a satisfactory completion of the contract and if you read that and are happy with the terms... go for it.
I guess I'm saying I wouldn't let one little clause like that change my decision about an otherwise good job.... If you really want 8000rmb work for a week when you get back home. |

Yes ! Because if the school is already plotting on how to cheat you out of 8 to 10,000 RMB, then what other tricks are they going to use in the future to try and trick you out of more money ?
The clause is not about completing the contract. The clause is about your "performance", and the school can use almost any excuse to claim that your performance was "not satisfactory". |

They don't need an excuse. They can just say your performance was not satisfactory. Or not say anything. Whaddya gonna do? |
