Nevermind. None of these replies attempt to answer the questions I have asked.

I think people have answered your questions, quite accurately and comprehensively. It's not their fault if they told you something you clearly didn't want to hear.

Fact of the matter is, you very likely do not have adequate qualifications to get one of the jobs which would enable you to save $60000. As others have said, there's no harm in applying to places - it doesn't take much effort to fire off a CV or fill in an online application form - but realistically, in a competitive market, your chances of getting one of the better paying jobs are slim.

So either you go back to college and do a relevant MA, or look elsewhere for employment.

Yet another poster leaves the Middle East forums at Dave's ESL Cafe with an unpleasant taste in their mouth.

There are people who have posted on this thread who should be ashamed of themselves.

No doubt I've raised myself above the parapet by posting this and some of you will feel tempted to take potshots at me with your snarky and snidey comments.

So be it.

At least I stood up for what I believe in and I have a clear conscience.

Dear Emile Cioran

"Yet another poster leaves the Middle East forums at Dave's ESL Cafe with an unpleasant taste in their mouth."

May I suggest Listerine?

Regards,
John

OP asked
Quote:
I am hoping for a little guidance as to what countries I should aim for and what positions I might qualify for. I have been thinking about the ME for a while but haven't been there at all

As to OPs goals
Quote:
My goals are to pay off nearly $40,000 in student debt as quickly as possible and save a decent amount toward my masters (which is like $20,000).

Answers were provided based on those questions/information provided by OP. When OP indicated dissatisfaction with the replies received (which were polite and pragmatic) then things got a lilttle more "to the point".

I always thought the moderators were the parties who ajudicated what was acceptable or unacceptable on these boards.
