It is, of course, opinion, but I'd say yes. The truth is that it is THE university in Oman. For about ten years, it was the only one - until private universities were allowed to open in the later 90s. I would say that it is still likely true that the students in the other colleges are only there because they were unable to get into SQU.

I am in the hinterlands too, but my pay is a long way from 2000! Could you share where you are working? |

I meant 1,400 is low for muscat.
I am in hinterlands and only earn 1,400
