| I have met a few guys pulling in over 12-15k along with free apartments on 18 hours a week... they've just been in Xi'an for a few years, and know the right people. They also have rock solid reputations. |
Even for a half brained foreigner, it's not difficult to build a "rock solid reputation" on mainland China. What's really tough is to convince locals what is good and what's not for them. Mostly, it depends on learning the local ropes, and then you can be pulling in... If you are willing to dance into the traditional tune, you'll be able to do it for a while and even longer if you want to get married here. |

Universities usually do not pay well in China, however with your qualifications you should get a better deal with the following;
Dipont has various Foundation Year programmes around China
NCUK, Has various affiliated centres around China. Foundation & Masters
Kaplan has number also of similar number of centres with added US courses(SAT etc)
Xiatong-Liverpool University Suzhou
Nottingham Ningbo
Some offer dollar salaries but all generally range between 14-20000RMB a month with Flights, Z Visa, accommodation and baggage allowance plus 6+ weeks holiday etc
You can also become an IELTS examiner and work weekends at around 300 RMB an hour 2-3 times a month which offers potential earnings of up to 9000 RMB plus travel expenses a month.
Some do the IELTS and get a low paying university for the visas/Accommodation
Some work for the above establishments and never touch their salaries except for holidays.
All places in all countries have their share of woes and China's no different. Best not to take it all too seriously when it comes to the 'management.' I certainly don't and consequently have a good productive life.

In Every Way
