If the invitation letter has arrived, they must have completed some of the paperwork already.

I'm about to do something similar, but I'm going to lie and say I will no longer be teaching at their school next term because I have to go home for some family emergency, not because I took a better offer. I think that just makes it easier on everyone.

I hope they can find another teacher. I'm feeling quite guilty about it.
