I'm really surprised to hear these quotes. When I look at Craigslist I see many places going for 450-600TL. they are usually erasmus student housing though.
I found a place online (through couchsurfing) before I even arrived, while I was hitch-hiking. I arrived and moved in. 400TL a month, no deposit, no fees.
I've been told by many that my place is actually not that cheap (I live in Uskudar) and I could have found a shared flat for around 750-1000 with 3 bedrooms and have it shared.
My friend lives in a flat by himself in a 3 room apartment with mini terrace near kadikoy for 700TL plus bills.
But..1000TL min.????? Sounds crazy! |
