well that'd mean the DoS pay is 150% of the teacher pay, 18,000 to 12,000. sounds quite reasonable, perhaps even quite high. a line manager won't usually earn double what his workers earn. |

| turned one down because of the demand of hours. I decided to stay in a Chinese university and teach, get a discount on tuition for Chinese classes, and I also ended up doing IELTS examining. Pay worked out to be similar. I liked the variety and flexibility. |
