Again this won't work. Not only will the fact that immigration doesn't shut up shop for 1 week+ in November make a huge a difference, but unless they have just dealt with the same immigration office that you will be applying at (and perhaps even with the same immigration officer - remember; every immigration officer is practically a law unto themself), it is almost impossible for anybody to give you a more precise time frame.

I don't know from experience, but I've read threads where the employer has been screwing over people working illegally whilst awaiting a mythical COE. And when some of them have gone to immigration to try and find out exactly where their application is at (or to prove that the employer was lying about placing it in the first place) but the officer has been unable to find any record of that person on file, they asked the supposed applicant to go to the employer and get the case number that they should have gotten when the the placed the COE app.

So I would guess; yes, there is.

The pay is very good, go for it. You're aware of the times in advance where you'll be making less, but you will have plenty of free time to get yourself some extra income to make up for that.

Can I ask what the dispatch company is?
