| Is a CV the same as a resume? I always thought they were different, but it sounds here that they are the same. |

They're not the same, but they're often used interchangeably. Resumes leave off personal info like civil status, DOB, photos, etc and are often much shorter than CVs. CVs kind of include your life history, lots more info. There are more differences and you can find them in google searches, but for the most part employers want a mix of the two.
Personal info of a CV, but not your whole life story. Max two pages. This is for the majority of employers. Higher ed jobs might require a full CV. US jobs just a resume. Depends really. |
