The laws are clearly stated on this forum.
If you are in breach of them then you run the risk of a large fine and deportation.
Penty of people come here and get away with it whilst plenty of others do not.
I would always recommend the legal route but if the OP wants to throw caution to the wind and work illegally then he only has himself to blame if the adventure turns sour. |

Since when did I ever say I wanted to work illegally? If you'd have actually read what I wrote instead of potentially illegal things one or two people were telling me i could do than you would of noticed I didn't mention anything about wanting to work illegally.
If you're going to take the time to post, why don't you at least write something helpful to me? I originally wrote what things can I do if a potential employer wants me to send a copy of my degree in with my resume since I won't get it for a couple of months? I was meaning things like asking my school for an official letter that says I'm on track for graduating and getting my degree in a few months and then sending the school in Chian that. I guess I could also just not apply to employers that ask for a copy of my degree with my resume.
I'm not trying to break the law, I'm just graduating soon, so I don't have my degree at the present but I will soon in the future. I figured there must be other people who have been in similar situations as me when job hunting, so I was wondering what they did in the same situation. |

Erm...you do not have 2 years teaching experience.
This is now a pre-requisite in order to go down the legal route.
However, I take your point that what I have posted might not be helpful to you but it is the truth.
I wish you all the best with your endeavours. |

Ok thanks, didn't know it was a country-wide policy. Thought the 2 year thing might only be stricter rules for certain provinces or cities like Shanghai and Beijing.
if needed, guess i can look into Taiwan or Korea, where the money is hopefully better and less rules to teach. |

Everything is flexible. Must have 2 years teaching experience...haha. Think again.
OP should just apply wherever he wants to. Some schools will not be interested, others will. He can also just ...modify....his resume to show 2 years of teaching. It is far from uncommon for schools to do this by themselves or to ask an applicant to do so.
So again...here is the reality.....
There are no hard and fast rules. Rules vary. Rather, the enforcement of the rules varies. Let the schools worry about the rules. |
