That's all pretty shocking. I don't remember things being that bad but I do remember in one break the ministry employees had to attend a computer course which was shoddily put together by a bunch of Iraqis. The homework each day was a 400 page + manual, I found it pretty funny tbh. There were people tearing their hair out. It was supposed to be a general computer skills course but there were questions about circuitry and how to replace damaged transistors and so on! |

Teachers should also be aware that, in these increasingly desperate times-when the writing could well be on the wall soon for many of these recruitment agencies, some are resorting to the old tactic of trying to cheat employees out of final salary/ severance pay prior to departure. Don't fall for the old-'your 3 months + 50% annual bonus will be paid [in cash] by our PRO in the departure lounge' crap.  |
