Well, Denise, this has been an interesting little interlude.
Obviously, ego-boosting is crucial for readers of this forum.
Then they can write home to their mummies and daddies and say,
�Wow, my students think I�m really cool, because I live in their town and speak two words of their language.�
As for the chicken joke on the Africa forum, again an example of small-mindedness, prejudice and downright stupidity.

OK, I'll bite. Are there any? I figured there must be but I hadn't heard any.
Being in middle school at the time, I enjoyed the Space Shuttle Challenger jokes.
Just what is the limit to sick jokes? I wonder. It's a serious question. Space Shuttle disaster jokes seemed to be pushing the limit. What has the threshold been for 9-11? I haven't been around so I don't know.
