Why am I not surprised there are inconsistencies within the Saudi Embassy's consular system. Oddly, the UK's embassy site doesn't even list work visit visa but instead, has a link for a business visa and another for a businessmen visa (http://embassies.mofa.gov.sa/sites/uk/EN/AboutDiplomaticMission/Consulates/ConsulatesServices/Other%20Visas%20Services%20e/Pages/default.aspx). Go figure. Apparently, no one within the consular staff is updating or even monitoring those web pages.
You need to ask the recruiter or visa agent what the specific process is for a work (employment) visa. It should include a battery of lab tests, a medical exam, criminal background report, and attestation of your degree---the requirements for legal residency and employment (as a bona fide employee) in Saudi Arabia. |
