Yup, wrong. I had some rather dodgy jobs when I started. Hell maybe I should have left, but I did not. I finished my contract, was paid what was owed. In fact I have not worked at and probably cannot work at a top-tier int'l school, but so far I get paid what I'm owed without any trouble.

About the OP, if you're sure you won't return to China and they're already abusing you, then go. Yea, I said it, too. If they don't play fair now, why would they suddenly see a rainbow and play fair when you give them 30 days notice?

Do a runner. They have screwed you before and they will screw you again. You owe them nothing.
