| Women are not allowed to rent by any means. |
Is this some sort of new law for 2014/2015? I have several single female friends who have taught at the ELI for several years, and they had no problems renting flats for themselves. And without any drama. |
I would love to have the number of their agents. Because we are not happy in this flat either. Things should work out fine since they are honest. |

Baa baa, you're direct hire, so you're safe. Besides, where would the university ship you off to? By the way, the entire brown bag industry thanks you for your continued, loyal support!
My point was that contracting companies' first obligation is to their clients and not the teachers. Many of these companies have contracts with various universities throughout the Kingdom, and wherever there's a need, that's where the teacher goes. It's also why some companies provide accommodation rather than housing allowances. It's costly for teachers to pay rent in advance at one location, only to be transferred to another city and have to deal with accommodation there. Contracting companies like to keep those costs down when it comes to employee benefits. |

No I would actually like to thank them for their support and man the bags are good.
Btw I saw this in a movie. Thank God I don't have such a problem....... YET. I'm just trying to add a lil humor. A mini note just in case anyone thought this was real. |

hi you guys.
I have made a big big gigantic huge mistake. I have received many many pms. I am SO SO sorry for misguiding many of you.
In the first post it says that 12000 basic. I dont know how I skipped the word basic.
Unfortunately the basic at KAU starts at 4000. If you have MA or just received it unfortunately they count the years of experience AFTER the date you have received the degree.
So for an example if you have 5 years after receiving your BA. and 2 years after receiving your masters. THey will consider the two years experience. I asked this and was told as so.
Again I am very sorry for misguiding many people. the only attractive thing is the working hours. I was just shocked at 48 hours.
Im really really sorry. I willl edit MY first post. |

| I think you should reimburse us all for the time we spent due to your incorrect information. |

I think the salary of SR 4000 is low for the amount of hours you work at KAU.
I guess cant complain about the 60 days paid vacation. |

I'm diggin' the avatar, Baa Baa. It's definitely you.
Clarification: That 4000 is the starting point for salaries before the job candidate's verified experience and other factors are calculated. For example, an MA TESOL holder with a few years of (confirmed) relevant experience will see that base of 4000 SAR increase to a monthly salary of around 14500-15000 SAR or more, exclusive of allowances. This was discussed in another thread about KAU. |

How can reimburse? Starbucks on me to all? PLUS I keep my mouth shut the whole time? PLUS NABS gets to put duck tape?
Would that be enough feels like high school all over.
Thanks nomad soul.
And yes with experience salaries go up to 12000+. And you do get17000 for rent allowance. I think that's why I answered. So sorry you guys. |
