Don't misunderstand me. Most of my routine experiences with the US Consulate have been negative.

Use of wasta should be judicious, not squandered on expediting the collection of tax forms, but saved for life or death situations.

I'm not going to jump in and call this a bluff but I know of someone who lived in their accommodation (it's near to Granada mall) so I'll double check with him. I find it very strange there is no wifi. That is pretty much standard in all furnished apartment blocks here and it doesn't exactly cost a bomb. And no TV?! Again, that is surprising.

Al Hussan have well over a hundred employees now. You are the first to make these claims on here. You haven't posted before, you've made two posts and then disappeared.

I have been told that they have one floor for men, another for families and another for women. Whether that's against Saudi law, I am not sure. If it is then you might want to call the mutawwa. Wink

And the last I spoke to my friend, he was being paid on time directly into his account.

Reporting back...

- No TVs provided for any of the teachers. You are told to buy a cheap second hand TV.
- Internet is only availabe in some areas, such as the stairs or downstairs reception area.
- There is no major cockroach infestation but you do get the few here and there. That's pretty much the norm here.

Some good news..
- Male teachers are slowly moving out. Many of the new male teachers have been housed in nearby furnished hotels. They will be moved again once/if other accomodation is found.

There are other professional companies to work for. My friend was brought to Riyadh dumped in the accommodation with no utensils, no money, phone etc. think he footed the bill for the 1st few nights, which I might add-he has not be reimbursed for. Some teachers have still not been paid. Other companies provide, phones, a salary advance up to 2kSAR, nice accommodation, even snacks on arrival. This company needs to be exposed internationally as a company NOT TO WORK FOR.

Alas, not everyone researches jobs and employers before coming to KSA. They'll be sorry !
