Criminal background check yes (enhanced DBS and Acro police certificate).

So you've already got your ACRO? the visa agents (BCS) told me not to apply for my ACRO until after all my certs etc were attested as they only have 30days from the day the ACRO is issued to apply for the visa, otherwise another ACRO will be needed. |

Cheapest option for the medical is to get your own GP to do it. If he won't then it will rise to the figures quoted above, especially in London. |

Dammit! I called them up (BCS) who said the same thing, acro has to be recent, within the month. Had no idea. Apparantly this was written on the email. Looks like I'll have to apply for it again. I applied for it as I thought my attestation would have been finished by now. Apparantly the SACB has had a crash on their system so everyones is delayed. Well, you live and learn. |

Thankfully I read their email and also followed it up with a quick call to ensure I don’t incur any unnecessary expenses.
Why dont you keep the reciepts and try claiming that back as well. |

Is it possible to do my medical cheap? Everywhere I've searched in london are quoting £350-400 and private hospitals/GPs are quoting over £600. |
That I don't know. (I'm American.) See Visa and medical fees in the UK. |
It shouldn't cost no more than £100. My wife did hers for 75 |

Does anyone know the latest about ICEAT in KSA? Theyre supposed to be calling me tomorrow about working for the British Airforce or something. Anyone know where this will be and conditions/salary/housing? |
DON"T DO IT. For anyone seeking employment-I suggest avoid this company. Try speaking to existing teachers working for them at KSU. |
