It is said that the one known as 'The Fraud' stayed in Riyadh over the summer (visa status unknown) to make sure he could meet the new providers face to face.
Was it a smart move on his part in these chaotic times, or just a last desperate attempt to avoid the inevitable?
The decision is all yours Mr. Dean. Lincoln College International expects you to make the right one. |

Remarkably, the Anglo-Maltese, Head of English, has once again managed to save his own skin. He talked the talk and Lincoln College International listened.
Be aware Lincoln College International that the aforementioned 'talker' has
never walked the walk. |

Doesn't surprise me in the least. Lincoln College International come across as unprofessional in every department so from the sounds of it, this Anglo-Maltese, Head of English will be right at home. I doubt though that in the current economic climate, he will be earning anywhere near what the Teutons were paying so those junkets to Dubai for conferences are out and the children in an international school might have to find another place to study, perhaps a local madrassa?

They'll find out but it will be too late. And nobody will have any sympathy for them given their previous mishaps in KSA. Some folks never learn.
I wonder what the fate is of some of the other shirkers, misfits, fakes and frauds at TTC? Seems to me that they have all the necessaries to keep Lincoln College International happy as the new management clearly hasn't set the bar that high.
Amazing that the only one true takeaway from the TTC failure is that the management were crap to a man and Lincoln College International have chosen to keep on one of the chief architects of that failure. Your funeral.
It's a shame though that the well deserving Saudi students studying at TTC will once again fail to get a decent education. Sigh.

Regrettably, "the Anglo-Maltese Head of English" at TTC represents the very worst of the Tefl industry. And there is a lot of competition for that particular title.
He alone has been responsible for a lot of undeserved misery among decent and hard working teflers. Simply to feather his own nest, and to advance his own narrow personal interests.
If people in management positions can demonstrate the prerequisites of the job, namely: competence, reasonable people management skills, (some basic) knowledge of the job, curriculum development for example, then fair enough. We are not asking for the world.
But when a lack of competence is disguised by unethical and underhand behaviors, people are fully justified in feeling aggrieved. Many teachers have now made their way from TTC back from whence they came with a very bad taste in their mouths. All because of the poor way in which they have been treated.
Even in the world of tefl, there should be minimum standards of common decency. This sadly appears not to be the case, not at TTC anyway. |

It just so happens that a good friend of mine for over 30 years now, holds
a senior management position at Lincoln College(UK).
I have just given him a brief outline of what his colleagues in Riyadh can expect from the Anglo-Maltese, Head of English - more details to follow. |

Yeah perhaps the CoE head honchos should be notified as well given, under their rules, it's a minimum that all CoE staff should have an MA/MSc to teach and it's my understanding that is not the case at TTC (assuming we're not including fake degrees )

More bad news, I'm afraid. The one known as The Actor has just been spotted on campus.
Any hope that Lincoln College International were going to be serious about rescuing this failed college is fading rapidly. |

I must say Lincoln College International have a very swish website. One would hope they can revamp TTC’s Internet presense, staff the place with capable teachers and turf out the Fraud, Actor, and English Dept (Da)manager |

They're probably all there leading a carnival float of various offerings to the Lincoln College gods not to mention new management. Roses and lilies and Arabic finger food and hummus will all be offered to the new TTC Head Gofer washed down with Saudi champagne.
The Duke of Cumberland will be there at the front handing out two for one BOGOF cream custards; the Welsh Actor/failed Lib Dem politician will be practicing his soliloquies in the style of Sir Ralph Richardson; The Croatian Fraud aka the professor will be offering to mop the corridors and mop up any additional contact hours as he only has 36 hours at the moment; and the London wide boy/Arab will be offering Arabic translations if he can only visit Carrefore and get off to play compound tennis at least twice a month during work hours; What a motley crew!
Like that well known phrase, no matter what happens, they will be ok: "Can't sing, can't play, can't dance - they'll go a long way!"

It is said that those with iqamas from the previous job have been offered a contract, but most of those without iqamas have not.
Some teachers returned from their holidays to be told they didn't have a job.
Allegedly, the Anglo-Maltese, Head of English knew this was going to happen some time ago, but said nothing.
Do not put your trust in this man: he plays the game of life in a profoundly unethical way. He can't possibly be a man of faith. |
