|
|
Hey. The board is kind of quiet.
Well, everyone. I am still here in Dallas. I just can't wait to get away. I just applying for an interview with a contractor for Aramco (Al Hoty) and they TURNED ME DOWN...the contractor rep said that only 3 of 20 resumes have been accepted. I have experience in Saudi and a master's. I wonder if I could have been black-listed !!! I didn't do anything THAT wrong..
I need the advice of the weathered and experienced ! I will not run off to a typical low-wage job in Asia...but I am really wanting to go overseas again. I will figure out what to do about the house later. Hopefully rent it out to students at the Seminary college.
I have missed the International School job fairs....Now it is up to me just networking. Ideally, I wanted to work at an International School...teaching secondary ESL, Social Sciences or Spanish language. Now, I will take about anything that PAYS WELL. And preferably gets me near paradise if not in it....(and I am not referring to the Islamic paradise here)
A university gig in Seoul ??? UAE? Keep trying with Saudi contractors?
*sigh*
I need direction.
Thanks for hearing my rant.
BTW, if you are thinking of settling down and coming to Texas to enjoy public school teaching.....DON'T !!!!
Cheers,
