I want to thank you, everybody ... for those wonderful contributions.
The winner is Dave, naturellement: with his contribution -
Dave Sperling's Internet Guide

I was going to say: that was the best contribution of all; but, i can see PicoIyer2 (i mean"guest of (from) Japan") screaming: "but he wrote his book in 1998 ...' They have no sense of history there (or no sense of humor?). Just kidding Smile
And, no, it has not been updated. We can only hope Dave will write a new book soon (keep the contributions coming, folks).

Also, I would like to mention:Susan, Susan Griffith - for her great contribution:
"Teaching English Abroad: Talk Your Way Around the World" by Susan Griffith
and, yes, sby asked? - there is a website.

and many , many others - i don't have enough time (or space - Commandant). Lots of good stuff, and I am sure there is more coming. I'll keep you posted, if need be. As many among you understood: The question is not: 4% or 10% (i would go for 10%, myself). Yes, the Internet is great and Dave is our leader Smile

But, use the Internet as a tool.
Do good work
etc.

Cheers,

Anne Stevens

P.S. Since Star Trek seems to be popping up all over this board, I guess Lt. Commander Data could also be cited. After all, he's not plural, either.

Well, he DID have an identical twin brother named Lore....

as now.
