Thanks for the link, and what an incredible story! I couldn't believe this when I first read it, but after going through the details it became clearer. Just goes to show you that, legally, you are a non-person if you don't have citizenship or documents. There's another side to the story though, and that's how the human spirit transcends documents and passports.

That is a great point. Several years ago something hit me and I came up with the analogy "would we have ever know who Einstein was if he was born in say rural Africa?" If he would have been born in Africa he may never have even went to school let alone develop the theory of relativity. This goes for many other famous people such as Bill Gates or Alfred Noble.
If we think about this we should all be greatful for our luck in where we were born. Many of the things we have accomplished may have been virtually impossible if we were born somewhere else in the world. Our succeses are not completley a result of our own skill and persistence but also luck. |

Funny variables.
Canada = America = China = Vatican City for % visted.
I scored a 6% for 14 countries execpt closer to 20%
of the landmass is shown as "red" visted. |
