I can promise you with absolute certainty that there is nothing whatsoever Freudian about me (or my slip). If I say something self-deprecating, it is because I am naturally charming and witty. For some reason I have trouble convincing others of what, to me, is an almost self-evident fact. Perhaps it has something to do with their inability to discern irony in the way I type my posts.

The problem about this kind of forum is that literacy skills are not common amongst teachers of EFL.
