This was mentioned by some Argentinians living in Madrid . Belgrano, is this a nice area? Affordable? Thanks.

Area is nice, there are more things to do in Palermo and Recoleta. I understand it is one of the more expensive barrios -- and costs I think about as much as Palermo.
I honestly still don't care for it though. It is OK but there isn't much going on here.


Here is what I said on page 2. A lot of other people mentioned things about it too.

The area is nice, it seems pretty safe; however it is so far away from everything. It is nice that the bus and train station are close, but other than that.It is on the outskirts of the most trendy barrios. I have never gone to a bar in Belgrano, although I'm sure they exist. I live near the border of Belgrano and Palermo and it is OK, but there really isn't much to do here. There are some nice parks, but they really don't compare to Palermo's parks.
I would live in Palermo if it is as cheap or cheaper.
