Mtnkiwi why do you want to join such a bad place? I have joined many video stores in Japan, and everyone has been polite. You shouldn't do spend your hard earned money there.

Hey, I never said French should be abolished. It should just be allowed to die a natural death. Or, it should learn to live on it's own, without being a multi billion dollar drain on the Canadian economy.

JimDunlap, I said that 90% of Canadians already speak English. I didnt mention whether or not it is their mother tongue, or if they were bilingual. Just that they already speak it. Actually, I just checked the latest Census and I was wrong. In fact, about 85% of Canadians already speak English. Only 15% don't. My apologies. However, the point stands that obviously it makes sense for most people to learn English over French.
