I saw my lawyer yesterday. Apparently the change to the constitution (which prevents foreigners from buying - temporarily, until the government redrafts a new law) was never ratified so until it is, foreigners can continue to buy. The problem is that not all local administrators realise this and it could be ratified at any time, from which point they can't anyway!
Somewhat confusing! |
