Next you'll be saying it is good to add a mixer to a malt Evil or Very Mad a touch of water or ice is ok(it brings out the flavour) But lemonade, coke, etc. Never.

of course not NO, the only mixer you should have with a fine malt is chocolate milk Wink

Use a blend for that baba.

One of my pet hates is when the bakal switches off the fridge. So he only has warm beer. I'm all for a warm pint of ale, but warm Efes. Yeuch.

Nah I'd never do a thing like that to a sing malt. Chocolate milk and brandy is ace though. I'm a brandy man to be honest.

What's your favourite malt? I'm a Laphroaig man, myself. Rich and peaty. Can't beat it with a big stick.

Yip, that's good. All the series that come in those round white boxes are good. I like peaty malts aswell. Knockando(sp) is my fave. Don't you hate it when Turks say that Johnny Walker is the best whisky.

Quike short story you may enjoy.

My old man likes the odd ( every night ) drop of whisky. He had a small bar at home and would ask how you took your drink, if you siad you wanted a mixer with it. He would pour you a drink from a big fancy thing from the bar, if you said you took it strait or perhapes with one block of ice he would give you shoot from the bottle under the bar. Confused Confused

If anyone asked what the differrance was my farhter would say that if your going to drown a drink then let it be a cheap one. Wink Very Happy

There are so few people in the world who recognize the importance of treating good alcohol well...

(She said, still miffed at her husband for chugging half a pint of the precious, precious Grand Marnier brought from America, like Grand Marnier is something you throw down when your Efes has run out...)

Sometimes that mint liquor is the last straw. I'm surprised you remember it!
