A quick google seacrh confirms there are Maximas sold in Mexico. They are probably produced here too, either in Toluca or Agauscalientes. Why not try calling Nissan and asking if parts are available for your model?

I've resisted buying a car in DF for the same reasons...traffic in the city makes it the slowest option for moving around, though it would be nice to keep one for short trips outside the city. If you don't have safe parking where you live, then you'll have to pay a 'pension', which will raise your overall costs. The monthly costs vary on part of the city...here near the Angel, I'd have to pay anywhere between 400 and 1200 pesos per month. Not worth it if I would only use the car once every few weeks.
