Now hang on here, I see tourism potential in Saudi Arabia (primarily due to its undeniable "uniqueness") but I certainly didn't see the perfection that The Prodiigy so eloquently described. I must have been blind. I can see it now in my mind's eye, tho...

Definitely Zurich or Vienna....although I know that in Riyadh or Jeddah it's difficult to tell the difference!! Laughing

Actually, I went for a drive along the Corniche in Jeddah shortly after first arriving in KSA, and when I saw the hordes of women dressed in black, all having a "bignig" on the beach, I had a vivid flashback to summers in the west-of-Ireland seaside village where I grew up. If the sun even looked like it might consider shining (it usually changed its mind, however) crowds of holidaymaking nuns from all over Ireland, and from various orders, would throng the local beach. It would become a surging mass of black against a yellow (and occasionally blue) background.

Hmmm...the Freudians among us would probably say that a baby Bebsi developed back then, a thing about unavailable black-clad-women-on-sand.

Why else would I have gone to KSA????????????????

Laughing

Finally... an explanation of why all those Irish are in the Gulf!! Sounds like the basis for a psychology PhD thesis to me. Laughing
