| Matt, Are you really set on using the Mexican Postal System? It might be worth the extra 30-50 bucks to send valuable items by DHL or FedEX. BTW, you won�t have any probs crossing with new electronics. The majority of digital cameras and laptops here are brought from Houston. |

| DHL and FEDEXing things into Mexico is not the safest or most reliable way to do things. Items are checked by aduana and can be held pending payment of duty or an extortion payment. Has happened to me twice, and is happening right now to a teacher here. |

| Thanks, we all need to know how to avoid extorsion. I have had DHL send me books from home more times than I can remember. This last time they didn�t even charge my credit card. Must have been the X-mas rush. |
