Suggestions for mick_luna's next thread:
"The artistry of anonymous Internet polling: facts, opinions, or bul-s-it?"
"What countries will appreciate an annoying Canadian who never stops pestering with the same questions?"
"Papua New Guinea or American Samoa: which has the better dating scene?"
"Can I buy Crayola crayons in Croatia???"

hmmm, i've never seen any of you or talked to any of you, our interaction is limited to a few brief messages, on a bulletin board that is theoretically for finding out more about teaching, and general living and working condtions in various countries. but now my personality and general worth as a person have been comprehensively analyzed and found lacking? i have been collectively been written off as an annoying Canadian? yes, certainly, i think you have sufficient data for your conclusions. on that basis, i suppose i can typify the majority of posters in this thread as complete wankers.
would perseverance, or repitition, or redundancy typify those of my nationality? Canadians typically do have a lot of antisocial tendencies, like the tendency to gang up and beat on or ostracize newcomers or others that aren't of the groupmind. but i find that even more so with Brits, Aussies and Kiwis. We are perhaps a little more polite about it, and a little more passive, while the aforementioned groups have a greater tendency to football hooliganism and other fun group sports. maybe this is a more civilized version of that. i think i know who you sympathized with in "the Wicker Man." it wasn't the protagonist. |

all right, i'm not only annoying ( which i don't quite understand, as i have been posting my queries on a public forum, Mr. Cowell,not at your front door, on the telephone with you, or by email. had i known what an insulting and rude and antisocial type of person most commonly responds to these posts, i wouldn't have even posted here, which i suppose is your intent. keep civil discourse to a minimum, keep the site for fighting, bickering and general ill will), i'm also, according to the lovely and charming Henry Cowell, 'clueless, inept and annoying.' Since we are going to make broad personal insults based on such a dearth of information, from the few words i've heard from you in my lifetime, i would deduce that you are an antisocial misanthrope and general wart on the face of society. |

| whoops, although i was pleased with my last defensive sally, i didn't post it twice in an attempt to live up to my reputation as: 'annoying, repetitive and inept.' it was an accident, but i suppose even accidents might make good fodder for some of the more antisocial predators on this site. |

"mick_luna":
Based on the responses you've received to the many, many threads you've begun here, what conclusions have you reached about where to relocate next?
Has your "research" from these threads provided you with anything reliable and verifiable -- other than your conclusion that people are "antisocial" if they find your repeated questions annoying?
Just wondering... |
