4 Months notice.......'NET'.......sounds like GEOS to me.

My take on it, is that you aren't entitled to the money, so should pay it back. Tough to spend the money and then have to pay it back, I know.

It certainly sounds like you aren't being treated fairly and evenly. Reason enough to leave. Every worker should have the same consequences when being late, etc.

I had a negative work environment at GEOS, and decided to 'see it through', and do my best to the end of the contract to get a good reference. It was all for naught, as my reference letter was essentially a 'he worked here and his dutes were such and such' letter .....clearly as useful as nothing.....worse than nothing....it would be detrimental for me to use it. If I had to do it all over again, I would have given my 2 weeks notice and blew the popslicle stand.

Depending where you live, I would give Interac a call. They are in need of teachers and are asking around if their teachers 'know anyone'. The school year starts in a couple of weeks. I would do that.....if you feel animosity toward them, that is the way to go. It would royally mess things up for them. You would be laughing and working a monday to friday job.
