Well, I gave my review of TEFLInt. on the Cultural Extremes post, page 3. I'm not sure if you read it. It just reflects my experience of the course at the time I took it...and the other people from my class shared the same sentiments.
I've never met anyone that has taken any other ESL course including Trinity and CELTA so I can't really say how it actually compares. In theory...the methodology of TEFLInt. seems comparable to Trinity or CELTA...but like you said, some places will take Trinity or CELTA only...so why waste your time with anything else?
The problem is that there is no CELTA being offered in Egypt so I think this is the next best thing. It seems like IH is the only organization that requires CELTA only anymore. Every other job posting I've come across just says "CELTA or equivalent." So, as I've said, determining on whether to take the TEFLInt.course or any other, depends on what you want to do with the certificate...where you want to teach etc. |

It disappeared a couple years ago. They likely lost their trainer.

I think ILI is still in business, but mainly offering Arabic and some English courses, me thinks. |

Yes, I wasn't clear... ILI is still there last I heard. They just don't do the CELTA anymore.
