It is good to know that in general students want to learn. I know that Arabic culture favor education and as you know many students will be forced to attend university rather than having the luxury to choose. I am not saying that parents oblige their children to attend a university but that the Arabic society as a whole gives a privilege to people with university degrees.
Hence it is more likely to find people who are not particularly interested in learning (and therefore troublemakers) more than in any western country... |

I taught ESL at AUD (American University of Dubai) My teaching experience was a horrible one, I have solid proofs of currptions such as passing students hose averages are below the required passing average. Cntroling teachers ways of teaching , materials used to teach, syllabus is allready set for teachers to use. I also read a letter from an exchange student who came here to take a course and he addressed lots of subjects including teachers over look students' cheating, studnets come to show off what dady gave them and more.
This is again my personal experience with proofs.[/list] |
