So you're tellin' me we could create the position and I could actually be the first governor of Nova Scotia? That's great. I'd even just settle for the governorship being a figurehead position, like Charles is the Prince of Wales.

Rick Mercer is famous for going around interviewing Amercians and telling them bunk about Canada. He'd have them say things like:

"Congradulations on completing the Canadian Pacific Railway!"

"Congradualtions in getting electricity in all seven provinces!"

etc etc.

He is great and I love it when he gets Harvard and Yale profs to come up and say things like "Congratulations Prime Minister Poutine......".

Anyone know of any video tapes you could order online with him?

Well, she's good looking. Is one out of four qualifications enough? Maybe I'll have to settle for being governor of Newfoundland?

You have to actually know stuff to be a figurehead of a province? That's preposterous! Man, it's like you guys have a totally different country up there.

You not only have to know stuff, you have to be able to count to ten and back to zero and be able to rub your stomach and pat your head at the same time.
You have to enjoy hockey and eat seal flipper stew too.You have to visit Tickle Harbor at least once a year.
Other than that it's a piece of cake.
