SEndrigo - If you're blond haired and blue eyed, for example, you won't have problems with the laydees. In fact you unlikely to encounter many problems unless you're up yourself, but from your posts at this site you certainly don't come across as that.

Well haven't read through many of the posts but I'd recommend Yunghe as a great area of Taipei to live. Right next to the big city and near the river (can't remember), so plenty of open space in that vicinity. Furthermore, Taipei city rents are damn expensive, but Yunghe is cheap-way cheap and places are nice.

As for the topic of women, I'll probably get some crap for what I'm gonna say and hopefully this can just be read by males but in Taipei I always see foreign guys-handsome and ugly with soso Taiwanese girls. It sounds cold, but relationsips can be cold. Outside Taipei is a different story.

hahaha, thanks forest!

Well, I'm not blond haired or blue eyed, but I'm tall dark and handsome - does that count? Laughing

Yeah, in Japan, people love the "Brad Pitt" look. It's hilarious! And it's even funnier when they point out a random foreigner and say "he looks like Brad Pitt!"

I'm like..."Uh...no he doesn't! He's about a foot shorter, has longer hair, and is like 20 years old. He's not even blond!" LOL!

Funny thing that happened to me, I was in a bar, and this was just after I had arrived in Japan, and some guy told me I looked like Andy Garcia (I don't)!

I guess that's a compliment Very Happy
