| Have been trying to get a teaching post in a Taiwan university for the past year. Know it is difficult to contact faculty members and personnel. At the same time, Taiwan universities don't advertise in Chronicle of Higher Education. |

| It isnt easy for sure. If you have a Phd you can always contact the universities and ask. It is a good time now as new contracts are renewed and vacant post are know at this time. May/June. |

You can't rely on Personnel Offices in Taiwanese unis like you can at institutions elsewhere in the world. I wouldn't bother at all even contacting them.
I would keep the Taipei Times in mind. Sometimes uni jobs are advertised there. Mainly they're for part-time work but sometimes for more permenant posts. |
