I realize that "take a decision" is acceptable in British English, though I never noticed it while I was living in London.
I usually tell my students to make a choice between North American and British and stick to it.
I'm not a big fan of Calderon, but I guess I still want him to sound cool while he's in the US.
Silly of me, I know.
It's kind of like Spain Spanish in Mexico.
Try asking someone here how to catch a bus in Spain Spanish, if you don't mind being laughed at.
Or the price of a jacket. |

Here are some of my favorites:
Directions: How do you get from 5th Avenue North and 9th East to Central Avenue and 7th West?
Student answer: take a taxi
Vocabulary:
wonder = competition to Bimbo
use the word "blow" in a sentence = My mother blows me when I'm hot. |
