Would-be FT's usually distrust Chinese recruiters while trusting Chinese educational establishments that advertise direct to fill their vacancies.
My advice is to start your job search trusting no-one. Recruiters vary from good to bad. So do employers who advertise direct.
Take great care when job hunting, and remember money isn't everything - a high salary can mean being overworked, so avoid training centers like the plague unless you're a workaholic!

Fact : Recruiters don't make the job.

However, they take part of your monthly pay, they get paid by the school a "finder's fee" that might be more then your yearly salary, and while they are not your boss after you start work, they often still have some kind of hold on your contract.

The worst part is, you boss at school has some minor bit of advice or request, so they call up the recruiter to inform you of this. "Request" becomes "order" and snowballs from there until you hate the school, the school hates you, and the recruiter gets send another teacher there to replace you, while they get to charge a new finders fee, and penalize you for breaking the contract. They make more money when we fail!

Honestly, don't deal with recruiters. I know most people will not offer much help on how to deal with them. Just trust us, they are almost always the cause of problems. I have not seen any stories on here that talk about when the recruiter fixed a problem.
