I'm sitting here right now with bronchial pneumonia. I don't smoke more than the odd puff here and there, maybe 2 cigarettes a month. I'm holding the dang pollution (and my weakened immune system) wholly to blame for this one.

Yes, I was being more than ironic-I was being facetious. I was warned by a private student in Merida that when I went to MX City, my eyes would be assaulted by the fumes. True enough, Marisol. I always have a burning sensation. The only other city I have lived in with as much air pollution was Savannah Georgia, home of paper mills that spew forth sulfur fumes by the megaton. Both, however, otherwise are fantastic cities to live in.
