I think he is using Appalachian English! Laughing

Hey there, Kitty-kat! Very Happy Arkansan, actually, altho, interestingly enuf, Appalachian is the closest of the American varieties to the "Mother Language". Are you now attempting to hijack an already hijacked thread? Laughing

An, for all others, I never took "Using 'Quote Buttons' 101", I merely hit the quote button, erase the drivel, an' make my quote within the quote with my "trademark" Indigo...mystery/incompetence solved! If anyone can forward me a primer, then pulease do so...

That said, I still seek evidence Scot...as I mentioned to another poster in a PM, I could say something demeaning and in rhyme, but I'm not mean...

But, NCTBA, scotty was merely making the obvious inference that the only way somebody with your passionate love for the Magick Kingdom would ever leave it would be involuntarily.

I disagree, Mr. Jones. Let's hear the Grand Old Man of Saudi Arabia speak for himself. He has made outlandish accusations against a fellow poster. Let the Caledonian substantiate his Scottish ramblings! Let's all get behind the maligned NCTBA (not in the sense that many male Brits enjoy getting behind other males in the Gulf). Let Scot47 produce his evidence or apologise to NCTBA. IMMEDIATELY SIR. Mad

Hmm, perhaps, gentlemen, a duel is in order - camel dung at two paces.

You may mock. Scotty has let himself down. BIG TIME as they say in the USA. Scotty, either put up the evidence or say sorry to NCTBA.

Uncle Scott is an old soldier and the father of the veterans of the Magic Kingdom, he much prefers to die than to say sorry to a cowboy from America! ! Laughing

Thank you for your support, SR. You may be one of the very few who understand the depth that Scot's words plummetted. To accuse one of deortation is to accuse one of a criminal act. That's what I didn't appreciate. I may have mainly negative memories of the K.S. of A., but I mainly followed their strict and asinine social rules. And, it's my right to like or dislike.

John, I can appreciate your trying to introduce some levity into the topic. Scot started something that, I imagine, he never gave a second thought to. Hopefully, the biggest gain to come from these conversations is that the old Caledonian will begin to process what he writes before he pushs the "Submit" button.

I won't even dignify the other unnamed poster with a response. Getting back to the poster who started this whole stir. sir, as SR said, we know that you are reading. Your silence indicates your inability to respond to your own innuendo. Whether or not you say "sorry" sir, I believe many now know that you are.

All allegations of Gross Moral Turpitude are hereby withdrawn. The allegator will be severely punished according to the strict rules of the 500 Club.

Well, Uncle Scott, according to the Magic Kingdom's law, the minimum punishment for anybody who wrongly accuses another person of Gross Moral Turpitude is 75 lashes and 7 days in Al-Qassim prison! Laughing

Who me (looking quickly over both shoulders)? Naw, I happen to like the poster Very Happy , it jes' comes down to the Biblical, "Luv the Sinner, but Hate the Sin" (or something like that...my Southern Baptist upbringing gets cloudier and cloudier). Crying or Very sad

My point was and always will be, if I do wrong, then I'll admit to it (another kudos to Scot 47! Very Happy ), but if something utterly untrue about me is said or insinuated, I have the moral obligation to challenge it...especially on a public forum. Mad Again, silence on my part would have indicated to many that I HAD been deported...and that is ABSOLUTELY untrue! Mad

I consider the whole incident to be in the past and will not comment further upon it.
Wink
