Rigel, no offense meant, but there is no way in holy hell that you SHOULD go to KSA anyway. From your posts, it is abundantly evident that you're not the right type to work in the Kingdom. Save yrk in the Kingdom. Save yourself some misery and just drop the whole idea.

None taken, Mia Xanthi. On that note...

No offense, Mia Xanthi, but there is no such thing as the "the right type" for the Sandy Gulag. If there were, they would have figured it out and their atrocious turnover problems would have been solved by now. If I went there and were miserable, I know I wouldn't have a monopoly on misery. If I were to quit my contract and leave early, I know for damn sure I wouldn't be alone on the plane getting out. I know this because I just got 9 offers in three days for jobs there.

They pay 3,000 to 4,000 a month and they can't keep people. There is no right disposition for the KSA. You go in and hope it all works out. With some luck, it just may.

I can afford to be choosy. If I get the deal I want this semester, I'm jumping on it. If I don't, I'll simply hold out until next go-round. The KSA ain't goin' anywhere.

yes rıgel, the ksa may not be going anywhere but the recession sure is. at this rate the offers next time around may be lower. please think about the unemployment rate in the unıted states of america. there is probably an enormous amount of new esl teacher rookies that will jump on the lower offers that may come around next year. think of the future and consider an MA if possible. i'm saying this for your best interests. i really do want you to live long and prosper.
