Well, Shiekh Nano, I re-iterate what VS told you, that you are being arrogant to assume that you are the only one here who can make a balanced judgement, but it seems you have proved that you are wrong, one sided, pro-Uncle Sam, and having a black hole in your mind in the darkness of Qassim. Bias exists within major USA newspapers, especially New York Times, the preferred media of Shiekh Nano!

Acoording to the parallelism in that sentence, the NYT is the Earth and you are the sun. But I think the real sun is much brighter Very Happy

Inserting opinion into a hard news piece is not how I was taught print journalism, nor did I ever employ that tactic. In fact, that is traditionally a very continental-European system, where in some countries each newspaper is affiliated with a particular political party...or at least used to be when I lived there.

Opinions belong on the Op-Ed page. For hard news, it's not a difficult concept: 1. You learn how to write. 2. You learn how to research and interview. 3. You get the truth to the people as best you can. The NYTimes is not a propaganda organ.

As I said--it's not very difficult to understand. I do realize that there is a grey area of "new journalism" features that can pick and choose which topics appeal to the writers and editors. Those people are human. But personally I took pride in the 3 rules above.
