This probably should have it's own thread. When Yogi's son started playing pro ball, he was asked by reporters if he had his father's gift of gab. His reply: "Our similarities are different." |

Buffallo Bill,
All I really want to know is what does this mean - "The nickname of the legislation has led to the term "Baker Act" as a transitive verb, and "Baker Acted" as an intransitive verb, for invoking the Act to force an individual's commitment."
Focus on the highlights. Remedial grammar lessons are welcome.
Thank GOD I'm off till October 8th. Welcome.
Love
Chancellor Yunqi
PS - What do you know about Afghanistan? I'll take the money. It is worth the risk. The only thing is that my cat "Lou" come with me. |

Dear Lamentations,
Well, the first part's easy enough:
Cop: Yeah, we Baker Acted the scumbag.
but for the second part, I don't know. Maybe what they meant was the passive voice:
Scumbag: I've been Baker Acted.
Who's "Buffallo Bill?"
Buffalo Bill's
defunct
who used to
ride a watersmooth-silver
stallion
and break onetwothreefourfive pigeonsjustlikethat
Jesus
he was a handsome man
and what i want to know is
how do you like your blueeyed boy
