| Haha, don't worry, Cap'n Fil! Chinese employers may prefer fit and beautiful people...but the FTs I have worked with in China are some of the fattest and ugliest people I have ever seen! |

You're probably right, TexasHighway. 
But if physical fitness will improve your chances -- why not?
Of course, there may be chance encounters with attractive members of the opposite sex.  |

They ask for a full body picture because they want to make sure you don't have a wheelchair or other physical problem.
Looks are valued here. I got an e-mail praising my job performance recently. My main merits? 1st. I am "always very handsome" 2nd. I show up to work on time. 3rd. I take my job seriously.
Strange priorities. |
