What I mean is, for selections where people's opinions are taken into account (for example selection for Masters courses) admissions decisions may be less objective than for selections where only the score in the exam is taken into account (for example undergraduate admissions for Turkish students). I do think the admissions system for undergraduates is fair and free from manipulation because it depends entirely on the exam score.

Yip, it's the ears that count. Impossible to disguise that part of your body, so we are told.

This is an interesting question, I think. Perceptions are often stronger than reality in views of corruption.
