She has been covering SA for three decades. I don't know how much time she has spent there in those 3 decades, but I am sure she knows a thing or two about this country.

I have reviseed my view of this writer. At first sight I assumed she was a typical pundit, writing from the suburbs of some American city with no in-depth experience if life outside the US. She HAS travelled and HAS livbed in KSA and other countries.
